''Tilefonise Mou'' (Greek: ''Τηλεφώνησε Μου''; English: ''Call Me'') is the twenty-first studio album by Greek singer Vasilis Karras. It was released on 26 February 1996 by Minos EMI and received double-platinum status, selling 120,000 units in Greece. Vasilis Karras
Vasilis Karras ( el, Βασίλης Καρράς; born Vasilis Kesoglidis on 12 November 1953) is a Greek folk singer. Biography Karras was born in Kokkinohori, near Kavala, Greece. At the age of 10, his family moved to Thessaloniki. Also around this time his brother Damian and his sister Anastasia were born. Growing up in the streets of Thessaloniki allowed Karras considerable independence and many of the friendships he created there have lasted well into his life until now. In the summer of 1969, Karras made a brief appearance at the club "Prosfygas" in Evosmos, Thessaloniki and made an immediate impact. Even though he was only 16 years old, he became a favourite in the city suburbs due to his distinctive then raspy voice. The club owners allowed Vasilis to sing on many more occasions, and thus a legend was born. The audience in his home city took a particular liking in his style. Minos EMI is a record company based in Athens, Greece. The company serves as the Greek record label and offices of the multinational Universal Music Group. EMI is credited for founding the record business in Greece in the 1930s, by producing the first records and building the country's first recording studio. Phoebus ( el, Φοίβος, ; real name: Evangelos-Phoebus Tassopoulos, el, Ευάγγελος-Φοίβος Τασσόπουλος, links=no; born 1 January 1971), sometimes spelled Phivos or Fivos, is a well-known songwriter in both Greece and Cyprus. Phoebus is mostly known for his music through Despina Vandi and Katy Garbi, although he has composed albums for many other artists in Greece and Cyprus.
