Tik Tik Tik (1981 Film)
''Tik! Tik! Tik!'' is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by Bharathiraja, starring Kamal Haasan, Madhavi, Swapna and Radha. It was released on 26 October 1981, Diwali day, and did above average business. The film was remade in Hindi as '' Karishmaa'' (1984), with Haasan reprising his role. Plot Sherley is a model who returns to Madras after a modelling stint abroad. She received by the modelling agency and is soon drugged and operated upon. Her dead body is soon found. Dileep is a photographer working for a newspaper run by Lakshmi Narayanan. He is a photographer in a beauty pageant run by a rich industrialist, Oberoi, which was won by Sharadha, Radha and Swapna. He becomes professionally involved with Radha and Swapna while romantically involved with Sharadha. Bharathiraja
Bharathiraja (born 17 July 1941) is an Indian film director and actor who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. Making his debut in 1977 with ''16 Vayathinile'', he is known for realistic and sensitive portrayals of rural life in his films. As of 2017, he has won six National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards South, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Nandi Awards, Nandi Award. He has also directed films in Telugu language, Telugu and Hindi language, Hindi. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri award, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, in 2004 for his contribution to the film industry. A B movie or B film is a low-budget commercial motion picture. In its original usage, during the Golden Age of Hollywood, the term more precisely identified films intended for distribution as the less-publicized bottom half of a double feature (akin to B-sides for recorded music). However, the U.S. production of films intended as second features largely ceased by the end of the 1950s. With the emergence of commercial television at that time, film studio B movie production departments changed into television film production divisions.
