Tihomir Atanassov Dovramadjiev ( bg, Тихомир Атанассо Доврамаджиев; born May 22, 1979, in Varna, Bulgaria; also known as Tihomir Titschko ("Titschko" being a short form of "Tihomir") and as 'TigerTAD'' on the Playchess server, is a Bulgarian chess FIDE master and chess boxer. Tihomir of Serbia ( sr-cyr, Тихомир Завидовић, ''Tikhomir Zavidović''; велики жупан Тихомир, ''veliki župan Tikhomir'', "Great Župan Tikhomir"; before 1113 – 1171) was the Grand Prince ( sr-cyr, велики жупан / '' veliki župan'') of the Grand Principality of Serbia (1166). Life He was the first-born child of Zavida. Tihomir was appointed the Grand Prince of Serbia (1166) by Byzantine Emperor Manuel I Comnenus though he ruled jointly with his brothers. Tihomir "Tim" Orešković (; born 1 January 1966) is a Croatian Canadian businessman who was Prime Minister of Croatia from January to October 2016. Born in Zagreb, Orešković emigrated to Canada at a young age and spent most of his life there. Tihomir ( bg, Тихомир; gr, Τειχομηρὁς, Teichomeros) was an 11th-century Bulgarian military commander of Dyrrhachium, who had been sent to tackle an uprising in the north headed by the Bulgarian noble Peter Delyan. He defected and joined him, but later came into conflict with Delyan because he had his own claim to the throne. Background In 1040, Peter Delyan revolted against the Byzantine rule in the Theme of Bulgaria. The Uprising first broke out in Belgrade where Delyan was proclaimed Emperor. He went south, going through Rascia and Dendra, then taking the Byzantine fortresses of Naissus and Skopie. Tihomir Blaškić (born 2 November 1960) is a retired general of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) who served during the Bosnian War and the Croat–Bosniak War. The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) indicted him on war crimes charges and in 2000 he was sentenced to 45 years of prison. In July 2004, the ICTY, on appeal, determined that his command responsibility for most of the charges was non-existent and his sentence was lessened to nine years imprisonment. Tihomir Novakov, Ph.D known also as Tica Novakov (March 16, 1929 – January 2, 2015) was a Serbian-born American physicist. As a scientist, Novakov is known for his black carbon, air quality, and climate change research. James Hansen dubbed him "the godfather of black carbon". Early life Novakov was born in Sombor, Serbia, in 1929. His father was a veterinarian and his mother was a homemaker. While in high school, Novakov began to build X-ray tubes and radios, furthering his scientific knowledge on his own. After graduating from the University of Belgrade with a PhD in nuclear physics, he taught at the University of Belgrade and worked at the Vinča Nuclear Institute. Novakov migrated to the United States in 1963 and began working as a research scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
