Tigermouth
''Tigermouth'' (so named for the lead singer's unique canine teeth dentition) is the first solo studio album by singer-songwriter Kelli Ali released in 2003. Previously, Ali was the lead vocalist for Sneaker Pimps, a trip-hop group, who are best known for their 1996 album ''Becoming X'' which featured Ali on vocals. Ali co-produced and co-wrote the album with internationally renowned producers, Rick Nowels and Marius de Vries. Singles released off the album include, "Kids", "Inferno High Love", and "Teardrop Hittin' the Ground". Kelli Ali, also known as Kelli Dayton (born 30 June 1974), is a British vocalist, who was formerly the lead singer of the trip hop group Sneaker Pimps before going on to a solo career. Career Before Sneaker Pimps, Ali was part of a group called Psycho Drama, which she joined when she was 16 years old. A few years later, she was asked by Russell Cross of the band The Lumieres to join his band (as their songwriter, singer, and lead guitarist). The Lumieres only had one major single, "Cinder Hearts". With Sneaker Pimps she was featured prominently in both the songs and the music videos for the album ''Becoming X'' (the group finding fame following the release of the hit single " 6 Underground"). Ali was released from the group in 1998 when they decided to do vocals for their own songs. Nellee Hooper (born Paul Andrew Hooper on 15 March 1963) is a British record producer, remixer and songwriter known for his work with many major recording artists beginning in the late 1980s. He also debuted as a motion picture music composer with Scottish composer Craig Armstrong and Marius De Vries for the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's ''Romeo + Juliet'' in 1996. Rui Da Silva (DJ)
Rui da Silva (born 25 April 1968) is a Portuguese producer and DJ, whose single " Touch Me" went to number one in the United Kingdom in 2001. At the time, he was the only Portuguese musician to have a hit in Britain, and hence was the first to score a chart-topping hit there. Career Silva started producing house music in 1992, just as club culture was getting established in Lisbon. Noticing the lack of dance music labels in Portugal, he teamed up with DJ Vibe to form Kaos Records, the first label in Portugal specialized in house and electronic music.
