Tiffany McCarty
Tifanny Janea McCarty (born December 14, 1990) is an American soccer forward who plays for Þór/KA in the Úrvalsdeild kvenna. She previously played for the Houston Dash, and FC Kansas City, and Washington Spirit in the NWSL as well as Albirex Niigata Ladies in Japan's Nadeshiko League and Medkila IL in Norway. Early life McCarty attended St. John's College High School, where she finished her high school career as the all-time leading scorer in goals (191) and assists (74). Her 191 goals broke the Washington Metro area (including Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia) scoring record. She led the WCAC Conference in scoring for four straight years while guiding St. Johns to two WCAC Conference Championships. In 2008, she was named a PARADE All-American. Laurel, Maryland
Laurel is a city in Maryland, United States, located midway between Washington and Baltimore on the banks of the Patuxent River. The Besta deild kvenna is the top-tier women's football league in Iceland. It features 10 teams that play a double round robin to decide the champion, which qualifies for a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League. The 2019 National Women's Soccer League season was the seventh season of the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States. The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984. History Women's league football was introduced on a county basis in 1977. These leagues acted as qualification for the regional (South) league in 1979. Regional leagues were in operation until the formation of the First Division 1984, when the league was divided into three regions, Group Eastern-Norway (''Østlandet''), Group Western-Norway (''Vestlandet''), and Group Mid-Norway (''Trøndelag''). The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a professional women's soccer league at the top of the United States league system. It is owned by the teams and, until 2020, was under a management contract with the United States Soccer Federation. 2013 NWSL College Draft
The 2013 NWSL College Draft was the first annual college draft held by the National Women's Soccer League to assign the NWSL rights of college players to the eight NWSL teams. It took place on January 18, 2013 at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Atlanta Silverbacks FC were an American professional soccer club based in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1998 as Atlanta Ruckus, the club played in many leagues over the years before folding after the 2015 season. The team played its home games at Atlanta Silverbacks Park, a large soccer complex featuring a 5,000-seat soccer-specific stadium in Atlanta, 15 miles northeast of downtown. The team's colors were red, black, grey, and white. The club had 2 independent supporter groups, Westside 109 and the Atlanta Ultras. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011.
