Tienie Burger
Martinus Abraham Burger (born 1 November 1993) is a South African rugby union player for the in the Pro14. His regular position is lock or flanker. Career Youth and Varsity Cup rugby At the primary school level, he was selected for the side that played at the Under-13 Craven Week competition in 2006. Burger then went to Grey College in Bloemfontein, which is in territory. He represented them at the Under-18 Academy Week in 2011 and also played for the side in the 2011 Under-19 Provincial Championship. In 2012, he started off playing for the U19s in the 2012 Under-19 Provincial Championship, but halfway through the season, he was promoted to the side and started six matches for them in the 2012 Under-21 Provincial Championship. Burger once again played for them in the 2013 Under-21 Provincial Championship, scoring five tries in seven starts, including a brace in their match against . Rosendal, Free State
Rosendal is a small farming town and arts colony 49 km north of Ficksburg in the Free State province of South Africa which was founded in 1908. It has become a popular tourist destination, known for spectacular scenery, including the surrounding mountains, and is home to a community of artists and small business owners. 2014 Vodacom Cup
The 2014 Vodacom Cup was played between 7 March and 16 May 2014 and was the 17th edition of this annual domestic cup competition. This edition of the Vodacom Cup was played between fourteen provincial rugby union teams in South Africa from the Currie Cup Premier and First Divisions, as well as the and from Kenya. Competition There were sixteen teams participating in the 2014 Vodacom Cup competition. These teams were geographically divided into two sections, with eight teams in each section. Teams played all the teams in their section once over the course of the season, either at home or away. Teams received four log points for a win and two points for a draw. Bonus log points were awarded to teams that scored four or more tries in a game, as well as to teams that lost a match by seven points or less.
