Tiburcio Carías Andino (5 March 1876 – 23 December 1969) was a Honduran politician and military officer with the rank of Major General. Thirty-eighth president of the Republic of Honduras, constitutional period from 1924 and thereafter in the form of a dictatorial regime for 1933 until 1949. He was elected president of Honduras in the midst of a deep world depression. He strengthened the Armed Forces, maintained the support of the banana companies by opposing strikes, and kept the country in strict adherence to debt payments. General Aquilino Tiburcio de León y Gregorio Tolomeo was a Filipino freedom fighter who served as a general during the 1896 Philippine Revolution and the Philippine–American War. He first served under Andrés Bonifacio in the Katipunan, and then, reluctantly, under the revolutionary government set up by Emilio Aguinaldo. José Tiburcio Serrizuela (born 10 June 1962) is an Argentine former footballer who played as a defender. His nickname is ''El Tiburón'' (The Shark). Career Early years Born in Palo, Tucumán Province, Serrizuela started his career with Los Andes in the Argentine 2nd division in 1980. He played for the club until his transfer to Rosario Central in 1985, he then had a spell with Club Atlético Lanús in 1986. 1986-1997 Serrizuela joined Racing de Córdoba of the Primera División Argentina in 1986 and played for the club until he joined River Plate in 1988. He was part of the River squad that won the 1989-1990 championship, and on the back of this success he was selected to play for the Argentina national football team in the 1990 World Cup. Tibúrcio Spannocchi
Tiburzio Spannocchi (1541–1609) (also Spanucchi, Spanochi, Spanoqui, Hispanochi etc.) was "king's engineer" to Philip II of Spain and subsequently to Philip III of Spain. He was named "Chief Engineer" in 1601. Origins Tiburzio Spannocchi was an engineer from Siena. He was born in 1541. He came from a noble Tuscan family, and served the Papal States in the fleet commanded by Marcantonio Colonna. In 1575 he was sent to Sicily as a Viceroy. Spannocchi entered the service of the King of Spain around 1580. Engineering works Spannocchi became involved in a project to control the Strait of Magellan. Two forts were to be placed on either side of the start of the first narrows ('' Primera Angostura'') on the Punta Anegada and Punta Delgada, creating an impregnable position. Tiburcio Vásquez (April 11, 1835 – March 19, 1875) was a Californio ''bandido'' who was active in California from 1854 to 1874. The Vasquez Rocks, north of Los Angeles, were one of his many hideouts and are named after him. Early life Tiburcio Vásquez was born in Monterey, Alta California, Mexico (present-day California, United States) on April 11, 1835 to José Hermenegildo Vásquez and María Guadalupe Cantúa. In accord with Spanish tradition, Vásquez's birth was celebrated on the feast day of his namesake, St. Tiburtius. Thus, he always referred to his birthday as August 11, 1835. It was discovered on 5 June 1989, by German astronomer Werner Landgraf at ESO's La Silla Observatory in northern Chile. With 53.5 °, it had been the asteroid with the smallest angular distance from the Sun ever discovered. It was later named after Brazilian amateur astronomer Júlio Tibúrcio.
