Tiantong Road Station
Tiantong Road () is an interchange station between Line 10 and Line 12 of the Shanghai Metro. It entered operation on 10 April 2010. Line 12 opened on 29 December 2013, and served as the western terminus of the initial section of the line until 10 May 2014, when it was extended one stop westward to Qufu Road. Line 12 (Shanghai Metro)
Line 12 is an east–west line of the Shanghai Metro network. It runs from in Pudong to in Minhang District. The first section from to Jinhai Road opened on 29 December 2013, and additional stations up to Qufu Road were in operation by 10 May 2014. The remaining stations opened on 19 December 2015. Since the opening of the extension in December 2015, Line 12 has the most interchanges with other metro lines in the Shanghai Metro. The line is colored on system maps. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. East Nanjing Road () is an interchange station between Lines 2 and 10 on the Shanghai Metro. It is located in Huangpu District, under the intersection of Nanjing Road (E.) and Henan Road (M.) in the city center of Shanghai. During the National Day and other major festivals, Nanjing East Road will close the station during certain periods, and trains will not stop at this station during the closed period. Before October 2006, it was known as ''Middle Henan Road'' station.
