Tianjin Bohai Bank Women's Volleyball Team
Tianjin Bohai Bank Volleyball Club is a professional women's volleyball club based in Tianjin that plays in the Chinese Volleyball League. Founded in 1993, the team has become a symbolic image of Tianjin Sports and the most successful women’s volleyball team in China. Tianjin Bridgestone have achieved eleven titles in the Chinese Volleyball League, three titles at the National Games of China. Also, they have five champion titles in the AVC Club Championships. Tianjin Bridgestone have been contributing players to the China women's national volleyball team. History As the members of "Golden Generation", Li Shan, Zhang Ping and Zhang Na played the key role in China eventually winning the Gold Medal in 2004 Athens Olympics. In 2008 Beijing Olympics, Li Juan, Wei Qiuyue and Zhang Na assisted China women volleyball team to gain the bronze medal. Bohai Bank
China Bohai Bank () is a commercial bank in Tianjin, China. Established on December 31, 2005, and opened for business in February 2006. The bank had a registered capital of and net equity of as at 31 December 2015. History The bank was the brainchild of the Tianjin mayor (and previous head of the Peoples Bank of China) Dai Xianglong who turned a national banking licence for Tianjin, that had been promised to the city in the mid-1990s, into reality and in the process kicking off an important upgrading of the Tianjin financial system. Yuan Xinyue
Yuan Xinyue (; born 21 December 1996) is a Chinese volleyball player who plays as a Middle Blocker. She is a member of the China women's national volleyball team and plays for Bayi since 2014. At 2.03m, Yuan is the tallest player in the history of the Chinese Women's Volleyball Team. Her impressive height advantage allows her to have a formidable presence at the net, and she is widely considered one of the key players in the team alongside her teammates Zhu Ting and Zhang Changning. Melissa Vargas (born 16 October 1999) is a Cuban-born Turkish volleyball player who plays for Fenerbahçe Opet. She was a member of the Cuba women's national volleyball team and was part of the Cuban national team at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy. Li Yingying (volleyball)
Li Yingying (; born February 19, 2000, in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang) is a Chinese volleyball player. She is a member and Outside Spiker of the China women's national volleyball team. On the club level, she plays for Tianjin Bohai Bank. Career Li’s sports career began in 2014, when she joined the Chinese U18 girls' volleyball team, she won the bronze medal at the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship, she was awarded the Best Outside Spiker of the tournament. In 2016, Li began professional career with Tianjin, a top team that plays in the Chinese League. FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021. The tournament involved six to eight teams over the years competing for the title at venues within the host nation over a period of about one week.
