Bhashyam Iyengar (6 November 1910 - 11 September 1987), better known by the pen name of Sandilyan, was an Indian writer known for his historical fiction novels in Tamil. He is known for his historical romance and adventure novels, often set in the times of the Chola and Pandya empires. Early life Sandilyan was born in Tirukoilur, Tamil Nadu on 10 November 1910Datta, P.631-2 to Ramanujam Iyengar and Poongovilvalli. His family was from Thiruindalur village near Mayiladuthurai. He did his schooling in Chennai Pachaiyappa's School and Saidapet Model School. His college education came from Tiruchirappalli St. Joseph's College. Sivaji Ganesan
Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, (1 October 1928 – 21 July 2001) was an Indian actor and producer. He was active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Sivaji Ganesan is acknowledged as one of the greatest Indian actors of all time and among the most imitated one by other actors. He was known for his versatility and the variety of roles he depicted on screen, which gave him also the Tamil nickname ''Nadigar Thilagam'' (). In a career that spanned close to five decades, he had acted 288 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as ''Ponniyin Selvan'' and ''Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Mukkamala (actor)
Mukkamala Krishna Murthy (1920–1987), known mononymously by his surname as Mukkamala (Telugu: ముక్కామల), was a lawyer turned actor who was active in Telugu films in the 1950s and the 1960s. He was a stage actor in his student days and was popular in the role of French General Bussy in ''Bobbili Yuddham'', a stage play based on the historical Battle of Bobbili (Bobbili Yuddham). He joined the Telugu film industry in the late 1940s in Madras and played a variety of character roles in a career lasting for about 35 years. He died in 1987.
