Thug World Order
''Thug World Order'' is the fifth studio album by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, released on October 29, 2002, and the group's final album for Ruthless Records. Singles released were "Money, Money", "Get Up & Get It" (featuring 3LW), and "Home" featuring Phil Collins, which charted in the UK. Flesh-n-Bone did not appear on the album due to his incarceration on weapons charges, while Bizzy Bone was ejected from the group after the album's release. Critical reception Like their previous effort ''BTNHResurrection'', ''Thug World Order'' received more favorable to positive reviews from music critics. William Ruhlmann of Allmusic gave the album two and a half stars out of a possible five, stating "Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are a good example of a group that has become little more than a brand name as its various members devote more of their time to solo projects. Early life Bryon Anthony McCane II was born in Columbus, Ohio. In 1980, 4-year-old Bryon and his two sisters were abducted by their mother’s boyfriend while their mother was at work and held captive for over 2 years. Bryon recalls that at first, he did not know he had been kidnapped and was made to believe that his mother and grandmother were dead. During the time they was abducted, he and his sisters lived in many homes, apartments, cars, and motels, all in northern Oklahoma. Bert Keyes
Ebert Adolphus Mahon (September 11, 1930 – July 21, 1987), known professionally as Bert Keyes, was an American pianist, songwriter, singer, and arranger. Biography Born in Brooklyn, New York, Keyes first came to prominence as accompanist to singer Ruth Brown in the late 1940s, before working with trumpeter Taft Jordan. In 1953, George Goldner appointed him as A&R director, musical director and arranger at his new Rama label, where for the next four years he worked with such groups as the Crows, the Five Budds and the Blue Notes, as well as recording several songs as a solo performer including "Write Me Baby" (1954). He then became Lavern Baker's pianist and arranger on Atlantic Records. Layzie Bone
Steven Howse (born September 23, 1974), known professionally as Layzie Bone, is a rapper known primarily for being a member of the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. He has also gone by the names L-Burna and The #1 Assassin. He is the younger brother of fellow group member Flesh-N-Bone and cousin of group member Wish Bone. Layzie is also a member of the rap group Bone Brothers and CEO of the record label Harmony Howse Entertainment. Music career The group formed the band B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e (all except for Flesh-N-Bone) and recorded an album entitled ''Faces of Death'' in the studio of their then-mentor, Kermit Henderson, on his indie label Stoney Burke in 1993. BTNHResurrection
''BTNHResurrection'' is the fourth studio album by hip hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. The album was released on February 29, 2000 on Ruthless. It reached Platinum status within a month, but sales declined afterwards. Flesh-n-Bone was heavily featured on this album, appearing in 14 of the 15 tracks (not including the bonus track) which was rarely seen on previous albums due to him not being signed to Ruthless with the rest of the group. This was Flesh-n-Bone's last appearance on a Bone Thugs-n-Harmony album for 10 years because he was convicted for assault with a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon in June 2000. Pleading guilty, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison, and was released in July 2008, re-appearing on the group's album Uni5: The World's Enemy in 2010. ''XXL'' is an American hip hop magazine, published by Townsquare Media, founded in 1997. History In August 1997, Harris Publications released the first issue of ''XXL''. It featured rappers Jay-Z and Master P on a double cover. In December 2006, ''XXL'' took over the struggling hip-hop producer and DJ magazine '' Scratch'' (another publication owned by Harris Publications), re-branding it as ''XXL Presents Scratch Magazine''. Its first edition was published in 1979 and its last in 2004. The guide can be seen at Rate Your Music, while a list of albums given a five star rating by the guide can be seen at Rocklist.net. First edition (1979) ''The Rolling Stone Record Guide'' was the first edition of what would later become ''The Rolling Stone Album Guide''.
