A miniseries or mini-series is a television series that tells a story in a predetermined, limited number of episodes. Ted Roberts
Edwin Dudley Roberts (17 April 1931 – 23 February 2015) was an Australian television screenwriter and supervising producer. Early life Roberts was born to Lesley Roberts and Louise Kearney in Strathfield, New South Wales. After completing his education at Marist Brothers College in Randwick, Roberts worked in advertising and sales promotion before commencing his career as a freelance writer for television and film Television screenwriter Ted Roberts began his career in television in the 1960s, writing early episodes of '' Skippy the Bush Kangaroo''. Michael Jenkins (born 1946) is an Australian writer, producer and film and television director. He is the creator of the crime drama television series '' Scales of Justice'', '' Blue Murder'' and '' Wildside'', all of which deal with corruption in the New South Wales police force. He also directed the cult film '' The Heartbreak Kid'', and its spin-off series ''Heartbreak High''. Jenkins is one of the most highly regarded Australian directors of the 1990s, known for his distinctive, gritty style, particularly for his use of multiple hand-held cameras and semi-improvised dialogue.
