Three Many Weddings
''Three Many Weddings'' ( es, 3 bodas de más, links=no) is a 2013 Spanish romantic comedy directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera and starring Inma Cuesta and Martiño Rivas. It was nominated for seven Goya Awards and won the Best Comedy award at the 1st Feroz Awards. Plot Ruth is a marine biologist who, in less than a month, is invited to the weddings of three of her ex-boyfriends. Single and unable to refuse, she manages to convince her new intern, Dani, to go with her. During the weddings, plenty of outlandish events take place and eventually lead Ruth to decide who she wants to be with in the future. Javier Ruiz Caldera (born 1976) is a Spanish film director, primarily known for his comedy films. Biography Born in Viladecans, province of Barcelona, in 1976, Javier Ruiz Caldera graduated from the ESCAC in 2000. Martijn Lakemeier (born 17 September 1993 in Zwijndrecht) is a Dutch actor. The Feroz Awards ( es, Premios Feroz) are Spain-based film and television awards presented by the Asociación de Informadores Cinematográficos de España (''Association of Cinematographic Informers of Spain''). They are considered the Spanish equivalent to the Golden Globe Awards, since they are part of the build-up to the Goya Awards, presented by the Spanish Film Academy. Created as film awards, the first edition took place in January 2014. Categories recognizing excellence in television were added for the 4th edition that took place in 2017. The Giornate degli Autori or simply the Giornate, formerly also known in English as Venice Days, is an independent film festival section held in parallel to and in association with the Venice Film Festival. It is modeled on the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. Anac and 100autori are engaged to support and promote the Giornate. It was founded in 2004 by Giorgio Gosetti.
