Thousand Oaks High School
Thousand Oaks High School (TOHS) is a high school in Thousand Oaks, California, United States. Established in 1962, it is part of the Conejo Valley Unified School District. It has a suburban campus with one story buildings primarily accessed by covered halls. The campus was originally built in the 1960s, however some of the campus has undergone renovation and construction, including the addition of a Performing Arts Center in 1999. As of the 2020–21 school year, the school has an enrollment of 2,042 out of a planned capacity of 2,886; graduating classes typically number between 450–500. The Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) is a school district in Ventura County, California. The district serves the Conejo Valley area, including the city of Thousand Oaks, the adjacent community of Newbury Park, and the Ventura County portion of Westlake Village. Chance Russell Myers (born December 7, 1987, in Thousand Oaks, California) is an American former association football, soccer player. Career College and amateur Myers attended Thousand Oaks High School, and played college soccer at UCLA from 2006 to 2007. Over two years he started in 26 of his 42 appearances and managed 4 goals and 4 assists. During his college years he also played in the USL Premier Development League with Ventura County Fusion. Professional Leaving school early, Myers was drafted with the first overall pick of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft by Kansas City Wizards and signed for $130,000. Claire Liu (born May 25, 2000) is an American tennis player. On 24th October 2022, she reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 60. In 2017, she was the world No. 1 in the junior rankings, after winning the Wimbledon girls' singles title, and finishing runner-up at the French Open. Liu also won a junior Grand Slam doubles title at Wimbledon with Usue Arconada in 2016.
