"Thoughtless" is a song written by American nu metal band Korn for their fifth studio album, '' Untouchables''. "Thoughtless" was released as the album's second single in July 2002. The single charted at 11 on the US Alternative chart, and at 37 on the UK main chart. Background Jonathan Davis, the vocalist of Korn, said that "Thoughtless" is "a song about people who are constantly ridiculed and the collateral damage it can cause". Live performance This song was introduced to fans during a live show at the Hammerstein Ballroom, in New York City on June 10, 2002, which celebrated the release of ''Untouchables''. ''Untouchables'' is the fifth studio album by American nu metal band Korn. The album was officially released on June 11, 2002 and featured the Grammy-winning single " Here to Stay". ''Untouchables'' debuted at number two on the ''Billboard'' 200 with 495,991 copies sold during its first week, second only to Eminem's ''The Eminem Show.'' ''Anywhere but Home'' is the first live album and concert DVD release by American rock band Evanescence. It was released on November 23, 2004, by Wind-up Records. It includes a recording of a concert at Le Zénith in Paris, an hour of behind the scenes footage, three previous-unreleased songs, and all four of their ''Fallen'' music videos. Background ''Anywhere but Home'' was filmed during Evanescence's concert at Le Zénith in Paris on May 25, 2004. The tour supported their debut album ''Fallen'' (2003) and every song from that album except "Hello" was performed at that show. Three new songs were released on ''Anywhere but Home'': "Missing", "Breathe No More" (which was featured on the soundtrack to the 2005 film '' Elektra''), and "Farther Away". "Here to Stay" is a Grammy Award-winning song by American nu metal band Korn that appears on the band's fifth studio album, '' Untouchables'' as the album's opening track. It was released as the album's first single in June 2002. The song won the 2003 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, as well as winning an award for Best International Video on MuchMusic in 2002. It was also nominated for Best Rock Video at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards and Best Single at the 2002 Kerrang! Awards. The music video, directed by The Hughes Brothers was highly successful, and gained frequent airplay on MTV and MuchMusic in particular, featuring the band members on a TV screen amongst major world issues at the time. Brian Welch
Brian Philip Welch (born June 19, 1970), also known by his stage name Head, is an American musician. He is one of the guitarists and founding member of the nu metal band Korn and his solo project Love and Death, where he also provides vocals. Along with fellow Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer, Welch helped develop Korn's distinctive sound (a mix of sirenlike shards of dissonant guitar that mimicked a turntablist's various effects and rumbling down-tuned riffing) that defined the nu metal aesthetic beginning in the mid-'90s. After becoming a born again Christian, Welch left the band in 2005 to focus on life as a father and to pursue his own solo career. He released his debut Christian album, ''Save Me from Myself'', in 2008. Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer and musician Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. Zach Sciacca (born July 22, 1971), better known as DJ Z-Trip, is an American DJ and producer. He is a pioneer of the mashup movement. He was the 2009 recipient of the "America's Best DJ Award".
