Thompson Teteh
Thompson Teteh (born 12 July 1989) is a Papua New Guinea rugby league footballer who played for Featherstone Rovers in the Betfred Championship. Teteh previously played for the PNG Hunters and the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland Cup in Australia, and has represented the Papua New Guinean national team. Background Teteh was born in Lae, Morobe, Papua New Guinea. Playing career Teteh trained with the South Sydney Rabbitohs on a six-week trial contract during the 2015 pre-season. After playing 50 games for the PNG Hunters, Teteh joined the Dolphins at the start of the 2017 season. and returned to the PNG Hunters in 2018 due to visa renewal issues. Morobe, Papua New Guinea
Morobe is a small coastal village located in Morobe Bay, in the south of Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. The Queensland Cup, currently known as the Hostplus Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the highest-level regional rugby league football competition in Queensland, Australia. Featherstone Rovers Players
Featherstone is a town and civil parish in the City of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, two miles south-west of Pontefract. The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. It is the Rugby Football League Championship Second Division, second-tier competition organised by the Rugby Football League, the governing body for the sport in England, and consists of 14 teams, with promotion to the Super League and relegation to the third-tier competition, RFL League 1, League One. PNG Hunters
The Papua New Guinea Hunters (PNG Hunters) are a professional rugby league football club based in Papua New Guinea. They were formed in December 2013 and currently compete in the Queensland Rugby League, currently called the Hostplus Cup, a second tier of rugby league in Australia. The Hunters are the second Papua New Guinean side to enter the Queensland Cup following the Port Moresby Vipers who competed for two seasons in 1996 and 1997.
