Thompson House, also known as the William Thompson House, is a historic plantation house located near Wake Forest, Wake County, North Carolina. It was built about 1853, and is a two-story, three-bay Greek Revival-style frame dwelling. Greek Revival Architecture
The Greek Revival was an architectural movement which began in the middle of the 18th century but which particularly flourished in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, predominantly in northern Europe and the United States and Canada, but also in Greece itself following independence in 1832.
