Thomas Edwin Ross (11 May 1873 – 19 January 1951) was a Progressive party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was born in Oro, Ontario and became a farmer. He was elected to Parliament at the Simcoe North riding in the 1921 general election. Tom Ross (born January 17, 1954) is an American former professional ice hockey centre. Early life Ross was born in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to turning professional, he played four years (1972–76) of NCAA hockey with Michigan State University. He is the all-time leader in career points at the Division I level with 324 points in 115 games played. Career As a professional, Ross played 216 games in the IHL with the Port Huron Flags (1976–77) and the Kalamazoo Wings (1977–80). David MacGibbon (2 April 1831 – 20 February 1902) and Thomas Ross (10 November 1839 – 4 December 1930) were Scottish architects. Their practice, MacGibbon and Ross was established in 1872 and continued until 1914. They are best known today for their comprehensive published surveys of Scotland's architectural heritage. Thomas Ross (27 February 1946 – 18 May 2017) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an inside forward in the Football League for Peterborough United and York City, in the Highland League for Ross County and in non-League football for Wigan Athletic and Rossendale United. He holds the '' Guinness World Record'' for the fastest time to score a hat-trick. Ross joined Ross County in 1961, at the age of 15, and scored his first goal for the club in his debut season. During the 1964–65 season, he scored 44 goals, including a record-breaking hat-trick against Nairn County on 28 November 1964, where he scored three goals within a 90-second period. Thomas Ross is an American retired ice hockey defenseman and marine who was a two-time All-American for Boston University. Early life Ross was born in West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. College hockey He was varsity defenseman for Boston University during the program's renaissance in the mid-1960s. A part of Jack Kelley's first recruiting class for BU, Ross helped the Terriers prevent nearly 30 additional goals against than the previous season. The team had a breakout year in 1965 and Ross led BU to its best season in 17 years, compiling a 25–6 record and winning their first conference title. Thomas Hambly Ross (February 25, 1886 – November 20, 1956) was a Canadian politician. Born in Woodstock, Ontario, Ross was first elected in the 1940 election as the Liberal Member of Parliament for Hamilton East, receiving 47.4% of the vote and defeating Conservative incumbent Albert Brown. He was re-elected in the 1945 election, with a significantly reduced plurality of 37.5%. With his third election in 1949, Ross received 39.9%.
