Thomas Ray (cricketer)
Thomas Ray (dates unknown) was an English cricketer who played mainly for Berkshire Berkshire ( ; in the 17th century sometimes spelt phonetically as Barkeshire; abbreviated Berks.) is a historic county in South East England. One of the home counties, Berkshire was recognised by Queen Elizabeth II as the Royal County of Berk ... and Middlesex. He was for many years employed by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) as a professional who probably coached the members. Ray was a good batsman but principally noted for his fielding, which was outstanding. Ray's known career of 72 first-class cricket matches was from 1792 to 1811.Thomas Ray

Tom Ray
Thomas Archer Ray (August 2, 1919 – April 6, 2010) was an American animator. Career Ray was born in Williams, Arizona. He began work at Warner Bros. Cartoons in 1937, working under Tex Avery for six months. He applied for a job at MGM and was hired. According to him, he got paid $18 a week, 6 times the money he got paid at the Warner Bros studio. After enlisting in March 1941, he was stationed at Fort MacArthur, and he rode on the same bus as Jimmy Stewart. He later worked at John Sutherland Productions, getting his first screen credit there with Destination Earth in 1956. In 1958, he returned to Warner Bros. and became a master animator in the Robert McKimson unit. After a brief stay in the Friz Freleng unit, he was assigned to work with the Chuck Jones unit, where he co-directed '' Adventures of the Road-Runner'' and several '' Bugs Bunny Show'' episodes. Thomas Matthew Ray
Thomas Matthew Ray (Irish: Tomás Maitiú Ó Riabhaigh) was an Irish Nationalist, politician, activist and author. Ray was born in Dublin in 1801. He was the son of Matthew Ray, who was also from Dublin. Early in life, Ray was involved in the Nationalist movement in Ireland. He became the secretary of the Trades Political Union in Dublin. It was here when Ray attracted the attention of Daniel O'Connell, who appointed Ray as secretary of the Loyal National Repeal Association, circa 1840. While secretary of the Loyal National Repeal Association, Ray wrote correspondence through the association's existence. In 1842, he organised the Repeal Reading Rooms, and established them in several towns—the first of these being in Newcastle, County Limerick—on his mission. In 1844, Ray was charged with exciting disaffection in Ireland and he, along with O'Connell and a number of other traversers, was condemned to imprisonment in Richmond Jail.
