Thomas Petersson (born August 24, 1962) is a Swedish actor and comedian from Halmstad. Petersson grew up on a farm and after finishing high school he worked as a tractor technician, while doing amateur theater. Peter Wahlbeck noticed Petersson's comic talent and talked him into starting with stand up comedy. Petersson's breakthrough came with the TV show '' Släng dig i brunnen'', which was broadcast from the comedy club Norra Brunn in Stockholm. Petersson has appeared in many gameshows and panelshows on TV. He has competed twice in the popular show ''På spåret''. Thomas Ingemar Petersson (born 8 April 1968) is a Swedish prelate who is the former Bishop of Visby. Biography Thomas Petersson was ordained priest in 1992 for the Diocese of Linköping. He worked as a pastor of St. Lawrence's Church, Söderköping between 1993-1995 and as a Stiftsadjunkt in the Diocese of Linköping between 1995 and 2002. He also served as pastor of the Ryds parish in Linköping from 2002 till 2006 and pastor of the Victoriaförsamlingen in Berlin between 2006-2011. In 2011 he was appointed as Dean of Växjö Cathedral and in 2014, in addition to being Dean, he became parish priest of the parish of Växjö, a parish consisting of 8 united churches. On March 5, 2018, he was elected bishop of Visby. He was consecrated bishop by Archbishop Antje Jackelén on June 3 the same year. He was installed as Bishop in Visby Cathedral on June 9. Tom Petersson
Thomas John Peterson, better known as Tom Petersson, is an American musician who is best known for being the bass guitar player for the rock band Cheap Trick. Career Before joining Cheap Trick, Petersson played in a number of bands, including the Bol Weevils, the Grim Reapers, Sick Man of Europe, and Fuse. He started out playing electric guitar, but soon switched to bass. His professional career has been closely entwined with Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen since the Grim Reapers in 1967, and the two co-founded Cheap Trick in 1974. During Cheap Trick's classic period, Petersson started playing the 12 string bass guitar, an instrument he conceived and developed in collaboration with luthiers at Hamer Guitars. Petersson left Cheap Trick in August 1980, shortly before the release of the album ''All Shook Up''. Tomas "Tommy" Pettersson (born 29 December 1952) is a Swedish former motorcycle speedway rider.
