Thomas Ohlsson
Thomas Ohlsson (born 20 September 1958) is a Swedish sprint canoer who competed from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver medal in the K-4 1000 m event at Los Angeles in 1984. Ohlsson's wife, Eva Karlsson, won a silver medal in the K-4 500 m event at those same games. Eva Karlsson (born 21 September 1961) is a Swedish sprint canoer who competed in the 1980s. The 1984 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the XXIII Olympiad and also known as Los Angeles 1984) were an international multi-sport event held from July 28 to August 12, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, United States. It marked the second time that Los Angeles had hosted the Games, the first being in 1932. California was the home state of the incumbent U.S. President Ronald Reagan, who officially opened the Games. These were the first Summer Olympic Games under the IOC presidency of Juan Antonio Samaranch.
