Thomas Edward O'Brien (December 19, 1918 – November 5, 1978) was an outfielder/ third baseman in Major League Baseball, playing mainly as a right fielder for three different teams between the and seasons. Listed at , 195 lb. O'Brien batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Anniston, Alabama. Basically a line-drive hitter and a good fielding replacement, O'Brien entered the majors in 1943 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, playing for them three years before joining the Boston Red Sox (1949–1950) and Washington Senators (1950). His most productive season came in his rookie year, when he posted career-highs in batting average (.310), runs (35), extrabases (21), RBI (26) and games played (89). Tom O'Brien (July 25, 1890 – June 8, 1947) was an American silent and sound character actor known for his burly serio-comic roles. He worked in the comedy film ''The Gentleman from America'' (1923) as Johnny Day, which is about the humorous tale of two American buddies (O'Brien and Hoot Gibson) and they have numerous adventures in Spain. Tom O'Brien appeared in over 80 films in a 22 years of career. He was primarily cast as stocky "Irish types" in comic supporting roles. Son Goku was a German rock band who played a mix of hardcore punk, alternative, reggae, and electronic sounds. The band was named after the Son Goku character in the ''Dragon Ball'' series. Thomas O'Brien (born 1961) is an American interior and home furnishings designer. His design firm, Aero Studios, and home store, Aero Ltd., are both based in New York City's SoHo neighborhood. Career Early career O'Brien is a graduate of Cooper Union in New York City, where he studied photography, art and design. James Thomas O'Brien (1792–1874), was an Irish clergyman. He was Church of Ireland Bishop of Ossory, Ferns and Leighlin from 1842 to 1874. Early life O'Brien, born at New Ross, County Wexford, in September 1792, was the son of Michael Burke O'Brien, a corporation officer, with the title of deputy sovereign of New Ross, who died in 1826. His mother, Dorothy, was the daughter of Thomas Kough. The father, who came originally from County Clare, was descended, although himself a Protestant, from a Roman Catholic branch of the great O'Brien family, which had been deprived of its property by the penal laws; he was well educated, but more imprudent than provident. Thomas H. O'Brien (June 22, 1860 – April 21, 1921) was an infielder in Major League Baseball who played for five clubs in parts of six seasons between 1882 and 1890. O'Brien batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Salem, Massachusetts. Bush to succeed Thurgood Marshall and has served since 1991.
