Thomas Loertscher
Thomas F. Loertscher (born January 4, 1944, in Park City, Utah) is an American politician, and former Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, in the District 32 B seat. Education Loertscher graduated from Park City High School and earned his BS in accounting from the University of Utah. Elections 2020 Loertscher took second losing to Jon Walker in the Republican Primary for Bonneville County Commissioner District 2. 2018 After losing in the 2018 Republican Primary to challenger Chad Christensen, Loertscher abandoned his Republican Party affiliation to run an Independent write-in campaign for his legislative seat. Loertscher went on to the November general election to lose to Christensen again, 2,247 votes to Christensen's 11,044. Idaho House Of Representatives
The Idaho House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Idaho State Legislature. It consists of 70 representatives elected to two-year terms. The state is divided into 35 districts, each of which elects two representatives to separate seats. It meets at the Idaho State Capitol in Boise, Idaho, in the State Capitol Building. Composition of the House The Idaho House of Representatives has been continuously controlled by the Republican Party since the late 1950s, usually by a wide margin. Julie VanOrden (born in Pocatello, Idaho) is a Republican Idaho State Representative since 2012 representing District 31 in Seat B. Education Born Julie Tsukamoto, she attended Blackfoot High School, the College of Southern Idaho, and earned her associate degree from Idaho State University's vocational technical school. 2018 primary election On May 15, 2018, Julie VanOrden was defeated by Blackfoot area political activist, home-educator, and stay-at-home mother of 10 children, Julianne Young. JoAn Wood
Joan Myrtle Wood (11 January 1909 – 27 November 1990) was a New Zealand educationalist and music teacher. She was instrumental in establishing nursery playcentres in the early 1940s, which later developed into the present-day playcentre movement. Early life Wood was born Joan Walter in South Weald, Essex, England on 11 January 1909. She grew up in England and South Africa and was Dux of Durban Girls' College in 1926. She then moved to Sydney and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Sydney in 1926. She met and married Fred Wood while in Australia. Wood taught music at a girls' boarding school in Armidale, New South Wales for two years. Dennis M. Lake (born October 5, 1937 in Rigby, Idaho) was a Republican Idaho State Representative representing District 28 in the A seat from 2002-2012.
