Thomas K. Lynch
Thomas K. Lynch is an American municipal administrator and politician who served as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and as Town Manager of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Early life Lynch was born on April 30, 1946, in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He attended public schools in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and graduated from Boston College and Syracuse University. Political career From 1977 to 1985, Lynch was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Barnstable government From 1991 to 2007, Lynch was the executive director of the Barnstable Housing Authority. In December 2007 he was named Assistant City Manager. In September 2011, Lynch became interim City Manager after City Manager John C. Klimm was placed on leave. When Klimm's contract ended that December, Lynch took over as Acting City Manager. Attleboro, Massachusetts
Attleboro is a city in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. It was once known as "The Jewelry Capital of the World" for its many jewelry manufacturers. According to the 2020 census, Attleboro had a population of 46,461. Attleboro is located about west of Taunton, 10 miles north of Providence, northwest of Fall River, and south of Boston. History In 1634, English settlers first arrived in the territory that is now Attleboro. The deed that granted them the land was written by Native American Wamsutta. The land was divided in 1694 as the town of Attleborough. It included the towns of Cumberland, Rhode Island, until 1747 and North Attleborough, Massachusetts, until 1887. North Attleborough, alternatively spelled North Attleboro, is a town in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 30,834 at the 2020 United States Census.
