Thomas J. Walsh (New York Politician)
Thomas J. Walsh (c. 1892 – October 9, 1955) was an American lawyer and politician from New York. Life Walsh was a member of the New York State Senate (24th D.) from 1925 to 1928, sitting in the 148th, 149th, 150th and 151st New York State Legislatures. He was District Attorney of Richmond County from 1932 to 1936; a Municipal Justice from 1937 to 1944; and a judge of the Richmond County Court from 1944 until his death in 1955. He died on October 9, 1955, at his home at 1031 Gordon Street in Stapleton, Staten Island. in the '' New York Times

The Richmond County District Attorney is the elected district attorney for Richmond County, coterminous with the Borough of Staten Island, in New York City. The office is responsible for the prosecution of violations of New York state laws, as violations of federal law in Richmond County are prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. Harry Zephaniah Johnson (6 July 1945 – 3 April 2013), known by the stage name Harry J, was a Jamaican reggae record producer. New York State Senate
The New York State Senate is the upper house of the New York State Legislature; the New York State Assembly is its lower house. Its members are elected to two-year terms; there are no term limits. There are 63 seats in the Senate. Partisan composition The New York State Senate was dominated by the Republican Party for much of the 20th century. Between World War II and the turn of the 21st century, the Democratic Party only controlled the upper house for one year. The Democrats took control of the Senate following the 1964 elections; however, the Republicans quickly regained a Senate majority in special elections later that year.
