Thomas Horn (born 1997 or 1998) is an American former child actor. He played Oskar Schell in the 2011 feature film ''Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (film), Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close''. For his performance in that film, Horn won a Critics' Choice Movie Awards, Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Actor. He also played Jimmy Hawkins in the 2013 television film ''Space Warriors (2013 film), Space Warriors''. Horn was reportedly cast in ''Extreme Loud & Incredibly Close'' after film producer Scott Rudin discovered him in ''Jeopardy!'', where Horn was a contestant. He was to have appeared opposite Kris Kristofferson in a film titled ''Joe's Mountain.'' Personal life Horn is from Oakland, California. ''Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close'' is a 2011 American drama film directed by Stephen Daldry and written by Eric Roth.
