Thomas Hazelton (born 22 January 1999) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League (NRL). Background Hazelton grew up in Goulburn and played his junior rugby league for the Goulburn Stockmen. Career 2022 Hazelton made his first grade debut for Cronulla against the Sydney Roosters in (Indigenous Round) round 12 of the 2022 NRL season, in a 36-16 loss and became Cronulla player number 552. 2023 Hazelton played a total of 18 games for Cronulla in the 2023 NRL season as Cronulla finished sixth on the table. The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Cronulla, in the Sutherland Shire, Southern Sydney, New South Wales. The National Rugby League (NRL) is an Australasian rugby league club competition which contains clubs from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and New Zealand. The 2022 NRL season is the 115th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 25th season run by the National Rugby League. Teams The lineup of teams remained unchanged for the 16th consecutive year. This became the second longest stretch of time (after 1947-1966 - 20 seasons) of a continuous line-up of teams in competition history (overtaking 1967-1981 - 15 seasons).
