Thomas Burnett Gordon (17 April 1652April 28, 1722) was a Scottish emigrant to the Thirteen Colonies who became Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court and New Jersey Attorney General for the Province of New Jersey. Early life Thomas Burnett Gordon was born in Pitlurg, Scotland, the son of Robert Gordon, 6th Laird of Pitlurg and Catherine Burnett, daughter of Sir Thomas Burnett, 1st Baronet of Leys. Thomas William Gordon (born 1957) is the current dean of Leighlin. He was born in Portadown, educated at the University of Ulster and ordained deacon in 1989 and priest in 1980. He began his ecclesiastical career as a minor canon at St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast. He was the priest vicar at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin from 1996 to 2010, when he moved to Old Leighlin. Thomas Flynn Gordon (born November 18, 1967), nicknamed "Flash," is an American former professional baseball right-handed pitcher and current radio color commentator for the Boston Red Sox. Thomas David Gordon (born 1954) (also known as T. David Gordon) is a professor, media ecologist, author, pastor, and Reformed Christian theologian. Thomas David Gordon was born in Richmond, Virginia in 1954. Gordon received a B.L.A. from Roanoke College, a M.A.R. and Th.M. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and Ph. D. from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia where he wrote a dissertation entitled ''Paul's Understanding of the Law: A Tri-polar Analysis'' (1984). Thomas Gordon (born 30 January 1997) is a Scotland Club XV professional rugby union player who plays for Glasgow Warriors at the Flanker position. Rugby Union career Amateur career Gordon plays for Currie Chieftains. Gordon secured a Stage 2 place in the Scottish Rugby Academy in the 2015–16 season. Thomas Gordon (March 11, 1918 – August 26, 2002) was an American clinical psychologist and colleague of Carl Rogers. He is widely recognized as a pioneer in teaching communication skills and conflict resolution methods to parents, teachers, leaders, women, youth and salespeople. The model he developed came to be known as the Gordon Model or the Gordon Method, a complete and integrated system for building and maintaining effective relationships. Work Gordon strongly believed that the use of coercive power damages relationships. Admiral Thomas Gordon (c. 1658–1741) was a commodore of the Royal Scots Navy and Admiral of the Imperial Russian Navy. Background Gordon is believed to have been the son of Doctor Thomas Gordon and Jean Hay of Aberdeen, but his origins are uncertain. His date of birth may have been 1658, and he is believed to have owned property in Aberdeen of which town he was made an honorary burgess on 30 June 1736. Sir Thomas Stewart Gordon (26 April 1882 – 5 July 1949) was an Australian politician. He was born in Ardrossan in South Australia grazier William Gordon and Alice Wicks. He was a businessman who settled in Sydney in 1903, where he worked for Birt and Company. In 1909 he married Victoria Fisher, with whom he had three daughters. He spent three years in Wellington in New Zealand before becoming a shipping manager. He held a variety of other company positions and directorships, and as also a Mosman alderman from 1925 to 1928. From 1932 to 1934 he was a United Australia Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council. He was knighted in 1938.
