Thomas Dalgaard
Thomas Dalgaard (born 13 April 1984) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Dalgaard began to play football in 2001 in the youth side for Nykøbing Mors IF before joining Silkeborg IF in summer 2003 . Dalgaard began his professional career with Skive IK. In summer 2006 he joined Randers FC, where he scored 10 goals in 31 Danish Superliga matches. In January 2008 he left Denmark to sign with Turkish Süper Lig side Manisaspor. He only played two games for Manisaspor and was released in August after the club was relegated. On 27 August 2008, he returned to Skive IK, and extended his contract with his youth club on 14 April 2009. On 31 July 2014, after having played two seasons for Viborg FF, Dalgaard signed a three-year deal with Dutch Eredivisie side SC Heerenveen. Viborg FF
Viborg Fodsports Forening ("Viborg Footsport Association"), or Viborg F.F. and VFF for short, is a Danish professional football club based in Viborg. The club was founded in 1896 and waited more than a century before winning its only national trophy, the 2000 Danish Cup. History Viborg FF was founded in 1896, with several other sports apart from football - among other things were gymnastics, cricket, field hockey, boxing, athletics, skiing, weight-lifting, and wrestling. The first big sporting highlight of the club came in 1924, when Viborg FF won the championship in ''Mesterrækken'' (The Champion Division), which was the best regional division in Jutland. Danish 2nd Division
The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. The number of promoted and relegated clubs has fluctuated over the years. The 2013–14 Danish Superliga season was the 24th season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. Teams AC Horsens and Silkeborg IF finished the 2012–13 season in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 2013–14 1st Division. 2012–13 Danish 1st Division
The 2012–13 Danish 1st Division season was the 17th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. This was the first season with a twelve-club First Division. The divisional champions and runners-up are promoted to the 2013–14 Danish Superliga. The teams in the 11th and 12th places are relegated to the 2013–14 Danish 2nd Divisions. Participants Lyngby Boldklub and HB Køge finished the 2011–12 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division. It is set to start on 6 August 2010 with the recently relegated HB Køge facing off against last season's eighth-place finisher FC Fyn. The final matches of the season are scheduled for 29 May 2011. 2008–09 Danish 1st Division
The 2008–09 Danish 1st Division season is the 13th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion and runner-up will be promoted to the 2009–10 Danish Superliga. The teams in the 14th, 15th and 16th places will be divided between 2nd Division East and West, based on location. On February 3, Køge Boldklub declared bankruptcy. As a result, they were docked three points and were suspended from the tournament. The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991 the 1.
