Tom Croft
Tom Croft (born 7 November 1985) is a retired rugby union player. He played 173 games for Leicester Tigers between 2005–17 winning four Premiership Rugby titles, played 40 times for between 2008–2015, was part of the squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, and the British & Irish Lions in 2009 to South Africa and 2013 to Australia. His career was somewhat plagued with a variety of minor and serious injuries. Background Born 7 November 1985 in Basingstoke, England, Croft initially went to Park House School, a comprehensive school in Newbury, Berkshire, before going to Oakham School in Rutland where he was in the same year as England cricketer Stuart Broad. Tucker Croft
Thomas "Tucker" Croft was an Irish international footballer who played professionally in Ireland and the United States as an inside right. Club Born in Belfast, Croft played in his native Ireland for Dundela, Glentoran and Queen's Island. In 1924, he left Northern Ireland for the United States, joining the Fall River of the American Soccer League. He was under contract to Queen's Island at the time and the move led to his suspension by the IFA. During his time with the 'Marksmen' he was noted for his discipline problems and in 1925, he petitioned the Irish Football Association for re-admittance. When this was denied, he returned to Fall River. In 1926, Croft began the season with Fall River, but moved to J & P Coats after fourteen games. Croft was back with Fall River for the start of the 1927–1928 season, but quickly moved to the Newark Skeeters. In December 1927, the New York Nationals purchased Croft's contract. Ludlow (UK Parliament Constituency)
Ludlow is a constituency in Shropshire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2005 by Philip Dunne, a member of the Conservative Party. History From its 1473 creation until 1885, Ludlow was a parliamentary borough. It was represented by two burgesses until 1868, when it was reduced to one member. The seat saw a big reduction in voters between 1727 when 710 people voted to the next contested election in 1812 when the electorate was below 100. The 1832 Reform Act raised the electorate to 300-400. The parliamentary borough was abolished in 1885, and the name transferred to the new county "division" (with lower electoral candidates' expenses and a different returning officer) whose boundaries were expanded greatly to become similar to (and a replacement to) the Southern division of Shropshire. Jollyboat (comedy Act)
Jollyboat is a British musical comedy double act. Formed in Liverpool in 2010, and now based in London, the act comprises siblings Ed (he/she) and Tommy (they/them) Croft. They are known for their Pirate Pop Songs and Keyboard Love Song. In 2011, Jollyboat won the Musical Comedy Awards. They have performed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year from 2010 to 2021 to positive reviews, including 5-star reviews in 2011, 2012 and 2014, and a recommendation from The Independent. There have been three baronetcies created for persons with the surname Croft, one in the Baronetage of England and two in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. All three creations are extant as of 2008. The Croft Baronetcy, of Croft Castle in the County of Hereford, was created in the Baronetage of England on 18 November 1671 for Herbert Croft, who later represented Herefordshire in Parliament.
