Thomas C. Hackett
Thomas C. Hackett (c. 1798 – October 8, 1851) was an American politician and lawyer from the state of Georgia who served in the United States Congress. Hackett was born in Georgia. He was the solicitor general of the Cherokee circuit from 1841 to 1843 and was elected to the Georgia Senate in 1845. In 1848, Hackett was elected to the United States House of Representatives as a Democrat to represent Georgia's 5th congressional district in the 31st United States Congress The 31st United States Congress was a meeting of the legislative branch of the United States federal government, consisting of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. Georgia's 5th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. The district was represented by Democratic Party (United States), Democrat John Lewis from January 3, 1987 until his death on July 17, 2020. Marietta is a city in and the county seat of Cobb County, Georgia, United States. At the 2020 census, the city had a population of 60,972. John Henry Lumpkin (June 13, 1812 – July 10, 1860) was an Americans, American politician, lawyer and jurist. Elijah Webb Chastain
Elijah Webb Chastain (September 25, 1813 – April 9, 1874) was an American politician, soldier and lawyer. Biography Chastain was born near Pickens, South Carolina, in 1813. His family moved to Habersham, Georgia, in 1821. During the Seminole Wars, he served as a captain and a colonel.
