Themie Thomai
Themie Thomai Prifti (July 11, 1917 – July 11, 1999) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour. She served as a Minister of Agriculture from 1986-1987,1989 to July 11-August 2 1992. Career Themie Thomai initially worked as an agricultural worker and then completed a degree in Agricultural Sciences at the Agricultural University Tirana. After graduating, she worked as an agricultural economist before becoming chairman of an agricultural cooperative with over 4,000 members in 1972. On October 28, 1974, Themie Thomai became for the Party of Labor of Albania PPSh (Partia e Punës e Shqipërisë) for the first time a member of the People's Assembly (Kuvendi Popullor) chosen who she from the eighth to the end of the twelfth Legislative period on February 4, 1992. Thomais Of Lesbos
Thomais of Lesbos (born 909/913 - died 947/951), also Saint Thomais, was a Byzantine woman from Lesbos and saint. She is a rare example of a married laywoman who achieved sanctity through her daily life and she is venerated as a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church, her feast day being on 3 January. Life Based on the dates provided in one of her vitas, it seems that Thomais was born at some point between the years 909 and 913 on the isle of Lesbos, though some doubts remain. She was the daughter of a prosperous couple who had long remained childless. At some point, she moved with her family to the Bosporus, possibly to Chalcedon. There, though she desired to stay a virgin, she was married at age 24 to a certain Stephen. The marriage was not happy and Stephen beat her frequently and discouraged her charitable activities. Thomai Apergi ( el, Θωμαή Απεργη; born 23 December 1988) is a Greek singer. She made her professional debut under the label of Panik Records in 2012 with her first single "What's Your Name" (Mia Vradia). She is known for participating in Eurosong 2013 – a MAD show, the Greek national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. Early life Apergi was born on 23 December 1988, in Tinos. Her first audience was her parents to whom she would give concerts every night when she was still a child. She studied music from a young age together with classical and electric guitar lessons as well as vocals, hence forming her own unique artistic personality. She attended the University of Patras. Éamonn Mac Thomáis (13 January 1927 – 16 August 2002) was an author, broadcaster, historian, Irish Republican, advocate of the Irish language and lecturer. He presented his own series on Dublin on RTÉ (Irish National Broadcaster) during the 1970s and was well known for guided tours and lectures of his beloved Dublin. He is buried in Dublin's Glasnevin Cemetery, next to Frank Ryan. Biography Mac Thomáis came from a staunch Republican family. He was born Edward Patrick Thomas in the Dublin suburb of Rathmines. His father, a fire-brigade officer, died when Éamonn was five years old and his family moved to Goldenbridge, Inchicore.
