Thom Kallor
Thom Kallor is a fictional character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. He has many incarnations connected to the Legion of Super-Heroes. The character has also been known as Star Boy and Starman. Publication history Thom Kallor first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #282 and was created by Otto Binder and George Papp. Fictional character biography Legion of Super-Heroes Star Boy is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, a group of young heroes living a millennium in the future. He was born to astronomer parents on an observation satellite orbiting the planet Xanthu with the ability to temporarily increase the mass of an object, up to the mass of a star. Although he temporarily acquires Kryptonian-level powers similar to those of Superboy when he was caught in the tail of a comet, these eventually fade (leaving only his original density-increasing power). Justice Society Of America
The Justice Society of America (JSA, or Justice Society (JS)) is a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The team was conceived by editor Sheldon Mayer and writer Gardner Fox during the Golden Age of Comic Books. The JSA first appeared in ''All Star Comics'' #3 (Winter 1940–1941), making it the first team of superheroes in comic books. The original members of the Justice Society of America were Doctor Fate, Hourman, the Spectre, Sandman, Atom, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman. The team was initially popular, but after the popularity of superhero comics waned in the late 1940s, the JSA's adventures ceased with issue #57 of the title (March 1951). During the Silver Age of Comic Books, DC Comics reinvented several Justice Society members and banded many of them together in a new team, the Justice League of America. Lana Lang is a fictional supporting character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. She has appeared in other media adaptations of Superman, typically as a teenager. These portrayals include the '' Adventures of Superboy'' television series in which Stacy Haiduk played her, and the WB/ CW television series '' Smallville'' played by Kristin Kreuk. In '' Superman: The Movie'', Lana was played by Diane Sherry. In the 1983 film ''Superman III'', she was played by Annette O'Toole, who would later portray Martha Kent on ''Smallville''.
