''This Night I'll Possess Your Corpse'' ( pt, Esta Noite Encarnarei no Teu Cadáver) is a 1967 Brazilian horror film directed by José Mojica Marins. Marins is also known by his alter ego Coffin Joe (Zé do Caixão). It is the second installment of Marins' "Coffin Joe trilogy", being preceded by '' At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul'' (1963), and followed by ''Embodiment of Evil'' (2008). Plot Coffin Joe returns to his village after recovering in a hospital from shock and blindness from the events in the previous film. Having been absolved of his previous crimes and murders, this time he is even more determined to find the "perfect" woman with whom to sire a son of superior lineage, for his singular, obsessive desire for the "continuity of blood". José Mojica Marins
José Mojica Marins (13 March 1936 – 19 February 2020) was a Brazilian filmmaker, actor, composer, screenwriter, and television horror host. Marins is also known for creating and playing the character Coffin Joe (loosely translated from Zé do Caixão) in a series of horror films; the character has since gone on to become his alter ego as well as a pop culture icon, a horror icon, and a cult figure. The popularity of Coffin Joe in Brazil has led to the character being referred to as "Brazil's National Boogeyman" and "Brazil's Freddy Krueger". Born in São Paulo, Marins made his feature film directorial debut the 1950s with the film ''Adventurer's Fate''. Herminio Giménez
Herminio Giménez (February 20, 1905 – July 6, 1991) was a Paraguayan composer. Life At the early age of 11 he was already part of the Paraguarí music band and two years later he was hired to be part of the Asunción marching band. While at the marching band he made his first successful song, a polca named ''Jasy Morotí'', in 1918. He was the first person to record Paraguayan music in an album, in 1927. The continued beauty of his works throughout the years positioned Giménez as one of the greatest Latin American composers. During the Chaco War he was assigned as the Director of the Military band and once the war was over he received several awards. Due to the dictatorship of Alfredo Stroessner's government, Giménez went into exile in Argentina. He spent most of his time in the city of Corrientes.
