'' This Is Nora Drake '' is an American old-time radio soap opera. It was broadcast from October 27, 1947, to January 2, 1959, first on NBC and later on CBS. Joe Mantell
Joseph Mantell (né Mantel; December 21, 1915 – September 29, 2010) was an American film and television actor. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as best friend Angie in the 1955 film '' Marty'', which he reprised from the original live teleplay with the same creative team. A nurse's cap or nursing cap is part of the female nurse's uniform, introduced early in the history of the profession.
