Ryan North (born October 20, 1980) is a Canadian writer and computer programmer. He is the creator and author of ''Dinosaur Comics'', and has written for the comic series of ''Adventure Time'' and Marvel Comics' ''The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl''. His works have won multiple Eisner Award, Eisner Awards and Harvey Award, Harvey Awards and made The New York Times Best Seller list, ''New York Times'' Bestseller lists. Mike Dawson (cartoonist)
Mike Dawson (born 1975) is a British-American cartoonist, known for his work on books such as ''Freddie & Me'', ''Ace-Face'' and '' Gabagool!'' Early life Dawson was born in Scotland, but his family moved to Leighton Buzzard, England when he was still an infant. They emigrated to the United States in 1986, where his family settled in Red Bank, New Jersey. He studied painting at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Career Between 1995 and 1998 Dawson wrote and drew a daily comic strip for his college newspaper ''The Daily Targum''. He worked with multiple collaborators, and the strip went through a number of incarnations: ''Dave & Pissa'', ''Dave & Co'', and ''Dave’s Family''. Tyson Hesse (born August 30, 1984) is an American graphic novel illustrator and director, known for his work on the '' Sonic the Hedgehog'' franchise. Career Webcomics Hesse produced the webcomic ''Boxer Hockey'', which he started in 2006. Hesse also created the graphic novel ''Diesel'' and its follow-up, ''Tyson Hesse’s Diesel: Ignition''. Martin Livings (born 1970) is an Australian author of horror, fantasy and science fiction. He has been writing short stories since 1990 and has been nominated for both the Ditmar Award and Aurealis Award. Livings resides in Perth, Western Australia. Graham Annable (born June 1, 1970) is a Canadian cartoonist and animator. He is the creator of ''Grickle'', published by Alternative Comics, and one of the founders of the ''Hickee'' humor anthology (also published by Alternative Comics). Carla Speed McNeil is an American science fiction writer, cartoonist, and illustrator of comics, best known for the science fiction comic book series '' Finder''. Career McNeil's chief work is the ongoing science fiction comic series '' Finder'', which they began self-publishing in 1996. In 2005, they started to publish ''Finder'' as a webcomic. Leslie "Les" McClaine (born September 30, 1977 in Ventura, California) is an American comic book artist. He grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts, where he worked in the public library. After graduating from high school, Les attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he majored in sequential art, and graduated ''cum laude''.
