''Thirumal Perumai'' () is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language Hindu mythological film, directed by A. P. Nagarajan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini. It was released on 16 February 1968. Plot Thirumal Perumai tells three spell-binding stories about how far you can get with Lord Vishnu's grace, and how he can solve problems. ;Andal Goddess Lakshmi had been reincarnated on earth as the daughter of a devotee. She was named Kothai. As she grew up, she learnt about Krishna and loved him. Once, she wore the Lord's garland. Just as she was admiring herself – her father caught her and slapped her. After much crying, she promised never to wear the Lord's garland again. The devotee did service to Lord Vishnu and put the garland on him. To his surprise, it fell off. The devotee learnt that Lord Vishnu only liked garlands that had been worn by Kothai. Kothai comes in with the previous garland and then they garland Lord Vishnu. Naalayira Divya Prabandham
The Naalayira Divya Prabandham ( ta, நாலாயிரத் திவ்வியப் பிரபந்தம், lit=Four Thousand Divine Hymns, translit=Nālāyira Divya Prabandham) is a collection of 4,000 Tamil verses composed by the 12 Alvars. It was compiled in its present form by Nathamuni during the 9th–10th centuries. The work, an important liturgical compilation of the Tamil Alvars, marks the beginning of the canonisation of 12 ''Vaishnava'' poet saints, and these hymns are still sung extensively today. The works were lost before they were collected and organised in the form of an anthology by Nathamuni. Description The ''Divya Prabandham'' sings the praises of Narayana (Vishnu) and his many forms. Chittajallu Rajeevalochana (15 August 1935 – 5 March 2013), better known as Rajasulochana, was an Indian classical dancer and actress. She has acted in more than 300 Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi language films. Early life She was born on 15 August 1935 in Vijayawada, Bezawada (now Vijayawada), in Andhra Pradesh. Her father, Pilliarchetty Bhakthavatsalam Naidu worked in Indian Railways and was transferred to Madras as PA to the General Manager of M&SM Railway. Mohanam is a rāga in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is an ''audava'' rāga (or ''owdava'' rāga, meaning pentatonic scale). Dhanyasi
Dhanyasi is a rāgam in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is a ''janya'' rāgam (derived scale) from the 8th '' melakarta'' scale ''Hanumatodi''. It is a ''janya'' scale, as it does not have all the seven ''swaras'' (musical notes) in the ascending scale. Madhyamavati (madhyamāvati) is a rāga in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The ''rāga'' is a unique and central feature of the classical Indian music tradition, and as a result has no direct translation to concepts in classical European music.
