Rafael Gil
Rafael Gil (22 May 1913 – 10 July 1986) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. His film ''La guerra de Dios'' (1953) won the Bronze Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1953 and also won best film and best director at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. His film ''La noche del sábado'' (1950) was nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1950 Venice Film Festival and his film ''El beso de Judas'' (1954) was also nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1954 festival in Venice. His film ''Let's Make the Impossible!'' (1958) was nominated for the Golden Berlin Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. He has won nine prizes of the National Syndicate of Spectacle of Spain. Gil was a prominent director of the Franco era. Jacinto Quincoces (actor)
Jacinto Francisco Fernández de Quincoces y López de Arbina (17 July 1905 – 10 May 1997) was a Spanish football player and manager, as well as President of the Valencian Pilota Federation. He was a central defender and is regarded as one of the greatest defenders of the inter-war era. He played 25 matches for the Spain national football team from 1928 to 1936. He was part of Spain's team at the 1928 Summer Olympics, and was part of Spain's 1934 FIFA World Cup team. He was Spain's national coach in 1945, taking charge for two matches. His brother Juan had a short career with Alavés, during which the siblings were teammates. His nephew Juan Carlos Díaz Quincoces was also a professional footballer and a Spanish international, usually referred to as 'Quincoces' in recognition of his famous relative (conventionally the paternal surname Díaz would have been used).
