Third Power (album)
''Third Power'' is the third studio album by American hip hop disc jockey DJ Drama, released on October 11, 2011. It marks his first album not to be released in the ''Gangsta Grillz'' series, after his previous two studio albums '' Gangsta Grillz: The Album'' (2007) and '' Gangsta Grillz: The Album (Vol. 2)'' (2009). Featured guests on the album include Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, Roscoe Dash, Freddie Gibbs, Young Jeezy, Wale, J. Cole, Chris Brown, Pusha T, French Montana, Crooked I, B.o.B, Gucci Mane, Ya Boy, Akon, Trey Songz, and Big Sean, among others. Background Initially, the album was set to be titled ''Gangsta Grillz: The Album (Vol. 3)'', continuing the sequential titles of his previous two releases: however, in an interview at the BET Awards on July 8, 2011, he revealed that he had changed the album's title to ''Third Power''. DJ Drama
Tyree Cinque Simmons (born April 22, 1978), professionally known as DJ Drama, is an American DJ, record executive and music promoter. He is the co-founder (with Don Cannon) of Generation Now, an Atlantic Records imprint with artists including Lil Uzi Vert, Jack Harlow, and Skeme on its roster. He initially gained recognition as the official DJ for Atlanta rapper T.I. and as a prominent mixtape DJ with his series, ''Gangsta Grillz''. Numerous artists have appeared on DJ Drama's ''Gangsta Grillz'' tapes, including Lil Wayne, Fabolous, Ludacris, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, and many others. William Joseph Crawford (born January 28, 1984), known by his stage name Ya Boy (also known as Rich Rocka), is an American rapper from the Fillmore District of San Francisco, California. Radric Delantic Davis (born February 12, 1980), known professionally as Gucci Mane, is an American rapper and record executive. He helped pioneer the hip hop subgenre of trap music alongside fellow Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Young Jeezy, particularly in the 2000s and 2010s. Dominick Antron Wickliffe (born September 23, 1976), better known by his stage names Crooked I and Kxng Crooked, (stylised as KXNG Crooked and pronounced "King Crooked") is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. Karim Kharbouch (Arabic: æɾiːm χɑɾbuːʃ born November 9, 1984), better known by his stage name French Montana, is a Moroccan-American rapper. Fredrick Jamel Tipton (born June 14, 1982), better known by his stage name Freddie Gibbs, is an American rapper from Gary, Indiana. After initially being signed to Interscope Records in 2006, Gibbs recorded his debut studio album under the label. However, he was eventually dropped and the album was cancelled.
