	Third Matinee Third Matinee (or 3rd Matinee) was an American rock band formed by vocalist and bassist Richard Page (musician), Richard Page with keyboardist Patrick Leonard. The group formed after the breakup of Page's band, Mr. Mister, and the demise of Leonard's band, Toy Matinee. 	Patrick Leonard Patrick Ray Leonard (born March 14, 1956) is an American songwriter, keyboardist, film composer, and music producer, best known for his longtime collaboration with Madonna. His work with Madonna includes her albums '' True Blue'' (1986), ''Who's That Girl'' (1987), '' Like a Prayer'' (1989), '' I'm Breathless'' (1990) and '' Ray of Light'' (1998). 	Toy Matinee Toy Matinee was a short-lived United States, American rock band, which released one eponymous album. Their sound featured an array of influences, including progressive rock, Album-oriented rock, AOR and Pop music, pop reminiscent of both the Beatles and the Beach Boys. Around the end of 1988, Patrick Leonard approached bassist Guy Pratt about forming a band and helping him audition and recruit members, as the two had become friends through working on Madonna's ''True Blue (Madonna album), True Blue'' album, and other material previously.
