Thijs Timmermans
Thijs Timmermans (born 25 July 1998) is a Dutch footballer who most recently played for ARC. As well as the Netherlands, he has also played in Poland, Cyprus and Ireland during his professional career. Club career He made his Eerste Divisie debut for FC Dordrecht on 7 September 2018 in a game against Telstar, as a starter. Following a season in Poland with Odra Opole and two seasons in Cyprus with PAEEK, Timmermans signed for League of Ireland Premier Division club St Patrick's Athletic on 1 July 2022. He made his first appearance in European football on 21 July 2022 in a 1–1 draw with Slovenian side NŠ Mura in the UEFA Europa Conference League. He made his league debut for the club on 19 August 2022, scoring the opening goal in a 2–1 win away to UCD. Hazerswoude-Dorp
Hazerswoude-Dorp is a village in the west of the Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn, South Holland, about 7 km southwest of the town of Alphen aan den Rijn. Hazerswoude-Dorp is a peat excavation settlement which developed in the Middle Ages. It turned into a linear settlement along the dike on the Oude Rijn. A circular canal was dug around the view to prevent a prolapse of the village. The Dutch Reformed church is a single aisled cruciform church. The tower dates from 1646 as a replacement of its medieval predecessor. The church itself was built in 1658. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The Cypriot Second Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Β΄ Κατηγορίας) is the second highest football division of the Cypriot football league system. Administrated by the Cyprus Football Association, it is contested by 16 teams, with the top two teams being promoted to the Cypriot First Division and the last four teams being relegated to the Cypriot Third Division. The 2019–20 I liga (currently named Fortuna I liga due to sponsorship reasons) was the 72nd season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 12th season of the Polish I liga under its current title. The league was operated by the PZPN. The league was contested by 18 teams. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The season started on 26 July 2019 and concluded on 26 July 2020 (regular season). On 13 March 2020, the PZPN suspended the league due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. After consultation with the Polish government, the league resumed behind closed doors without any spectators on 2 June 2020. 2018–19 Eerste Divisie
The 2018–19 Eerste Divisie, known as Keuken Kampioen Divisie for sponsorship reasons, was the sixty-third season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2018 and ended in May 2019 with the returns of the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, involving also the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2018–19 Eredivisie. Teams A total of 20 teams are taking part in the league. Fortuna Sittard gained promotion to the Eredivisie, and was replaced by FC Twente, who finished bottom in the 2017–18 Eredivisie. Beloften Eredivisie
The Beloften Eredivisie (; ''"Promised Honor Division"'') was the highest football league in for reserve teams in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB). The league was founded in 1992 as ''Reserve Teams Eredivisie'' and this name was in use until the 2000–01 season. The second teams are called ''beloften'' teams. Until the 2009–10 season the league champion, as well as the KNVB Reserve Cup winner, was awarded a ticket for the regular KNVB Cup but the reserve teams were disbanded from the KNVB Cup. A Super Cup was installed instead. There was no promotion and the team finishing at the bottom of the table was relegated to the Beloften Eerste Divisie. Polish Cup
The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once).
