Thierry Hupond
Thierry Hupond (born 10 November 1984) is a French former road bicycle racer, who competed professionally between 2008 and 2017 for the and teams. Born in Décines-Charpieu, Rhône, Hupond became professional with Skil-Shimano in 2008, having been a stagiaire with the team in late 2007. In the 2008 Paris–Nice, he wore the mountains classification jersey for one day on stage three, having broken away from the field during stage two, building up a lead of fifteen minutes at one point. As a result, he claimed all the mountain points available. 2015 Brabantse Pijl
The 2015 Brabantse Pijl was the 55th edition of the Brabantse Pijl road cycling race. Held on 15 April 2015, it started in Leuven and ended later in Overijse. It was a 1.HC-ranked race that was part of the 2015 UCI Europe Tour. The main difficulty in the race was caused by 26 climbs, as well as twisting roads in the final part of the route. The race was won from the breakaway by Ben Hermans (). A group of fourteen riders finished two seconds behind, with Michael Matthews () second and the defending champion Philippe Gilbert () third. General Classification In The Giro D'Italia
The general classification in the Giro d'Italia is the most important classification of the Giro d'Italia, which determines who is the overall winner. It is therefore considered more important than secondary classifications as the points classification or the mountains classification. Since 1931, the leader of the general classification is identified by a pink jersey ( it, maglia rosa ). Prior to that year and since the creation of the race, no colour was used to distinguish the winner at the top of the classification. The first rider to wear the maglia rosa was Learco Guerra following the first stage of the 1931 Giro d'Italia. The first jersey was entirely pink and made from wool. It had a roll-neck collar and front pockets. As Italy was under Fascist Party rule there was a gray shield stitched onto the shirt, a symbol for the party. The 2015 Vuelta a España was a three-week Grand Tour cycling race. The race was the 70th edition of the Vuelta a España and took place principally in Spain, although two stages took place partly or wholly in Andorra, and was the 22nd race in the 2015 UCI World Tour. The race included 21 stages, beginning in Marbella on 22 August 2015 and finishing in Madrid on 13 September.
