''These Simple Truths'' is the Sidewalk Prophets first major-label studio album with Word Records, released on August 25, 2009. It features the hit radio singles " The Words I Would Say" and " You Love Me Anyway." The main genre the Sidewalk Prophets play in is Contemporary Christian music. The first hit from this CD, "The Words I Would Say" which is also featured on WOW Hits 2010 and WOW Hits 2011. Sidewalk Prophets is an American contemporary Christian music band from Nashville. Their album '' These Simple Truths'' contained the single "The Words I Would Say" which is also featured on '' WOW Hits 2010'' and ''WOW Hits 2011''. The group won the 2010 GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. Background The band was formed by lead singer Dave Frey and rhythm guitarist Ben McDonald when the two were attending Anderson University in Indiana. A demo they recorded was taken without their knowledge to a campus recording contest, which earned them a performance slot. That in turn, led to radio program directors and record labels, and a chance encounter with Audio Adrenaline's Will McGinnis gave Dave the chance to sing in front of 20,000. 33Miles is a contemporary Christian band with country music influences from Franklin, Tennessee. Background The band began playing in Nashville and signed to INO Records, who released the band's debut album, '' 33Miles'', in 2007. Jason David Ingram is an American Christian music producer and songwriter. He has been a songwriter for many Christian artists, including Bebo Norman and Point of Grace. Career Around the end of 2001, he was the first artist to be signed to Resonate Records, an INO Records partnership with Sonicflood's lead vocalist Rick Heil. He subsequently released his first album, ''Jason Ingram'', on March 5, 2002. Since 2003, Ingram has been the lead vocalist of the Christian pop rock band The Longing. The 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards presentation was held on April 21, 2010 recognizing accomplishments of musicians for the year 2009. The show was held at The Opry Entertainment Complex in Nashville, Tennessee, and was hosted by Bart Millard. Nominations were announced on February 18, 2010 during a press conference at Belmont University's Curb Café in Nashville, Tennessee. A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually. Formerly held in Nashville, Tennessee, the Dove Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia during 2011 and 2012, but has since moved back to Nashville. The ceremonies feature live musical performances and are broadcast on TBN. Revive (band)
Revive (sometimes styled Rev!ve) was a Christian rock band based out of Atlanta, Georgia, which consisted of Dave Hanbury, Rich Thompson, Tyler Hall, and Michael Wright. Formed in 2004, they had success throughout Australia, releasing two albums, as well as supporting Third Day on a national tour in January 2007. The band then relocated to America to pursue their career in Christian music. In August 2009, it was announced that Tyler Hall would be leaving the band on 4 September. Rascal Flatts is an American country music band founded in 1999. The band members were Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, background vocals), and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, background vocals). DeMarcus is LeVox's second cousin, a brother-in-law of country music singer James Otto, and a former member of the contemporary Christian music duo East to West.
