Theodor Holman
Theodor Holman (born 9 January 1953, in Amsterdam) is a Dutch journalist, presenter, and writer of Indo descent. He studied Dutch language and History at the University of Amsterdam. He was editor of the satirical student newspaper Propria Cures. His play ''Breivik meets Wilders'' ( nl, Breivik ontmoet Wilders) depicts a fictional meeting between Anders Behring Breivik and controversial Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders at London's Heathrow airport in March 2010. The play was staged at Amsterdam's De Balie theatre. Other plays are currently under development in Sweden and the UK. Theodoor () is a masculine given name. It is the Dutch form of Theodore. Short forms of Theodoor are Theo, Dorus, Dirck, and Dirk. The latter two are derived from the Germanic name Theodoric (via Diederik) rather than from the Greek/Latin Theodorus. Medea (TV Serial)
''Medea'' is a 2005 Dutch television serial in six episodes directed by Theo van Gogh, starring Katja Schuurman, Thijs Römer and Tara Elders. It tells the story of the daughter of a politician who tries to help her selfish boyfriend to become the prime minister of the Netherlands. The screenplay was written by Theodor Holman and is a take on Euripides' play ''Medea'', with the story moved to contemporary Dutch politics. The serial was produced by Column Film for the broadcaster AVRO. It won the Special Prize and was nominated for the Golden Calf for Best Television Drama at the 2005 Netherlands Film Festival.
