''Then Came You'' is a half-hour sitcom that aired on ABC for two months from March 22 to April 26, 2000. The show dealt with the romantic relationship between a young man and an older woman. It starred Susan Floyd, Thomas Newton, and Desmond Askew. This wasn't the first time ABC greenlighted a sitcom with this title. ''Then Came You'' was also the proposed title for the show that ultimately became the 1980s sitcom '' Webster'' (only used before its premiere). Betsy Thomas (born 1966) is an American television writer and producer living in Los Angeles, California with her husband, writer and actor Adrian Wenner. Thomas is best known as the creator of the sitcom ''My Boys'' that debuted on the cable television network TBS November 28, 2006. She is a writer and executive producer on the show. She also created and executive-produced the short-lived sitcom ''Run of the House'', which aired from September 2003 to May 2004 on The WB. Thomas was also one of the producers of NBC's sitcom, ''Whitney''. Gail Mancuso (born July 14, 1958) is an American film and television director. Early life and career Mancuso grew up in Melrose Park, Illinois. She is married to Brian Downs, a doctor, and divides her time between her homes in Valencia, California and River Forest, Illinois. Mancuso began her career as an usher of the set of several television talk shows. Later, became a script supervisor for the Showtime comedy ''Brothers''. In 1989, she began serving as associate director for '' Roseanne''. After one of the show's directors left in 1991, she had the chance to become one of the main directors and continued until the show's eighth season. Michael Lessac (born 1940) is a theatre, television, and film director and screenwriter. Lessac is also the Artistic Director of Colonnades Theatre Lab, Inc and of Colonnades Theatre Lab, South Africa. He is the Project Creator & Director of the international theatre piece, '' Truth in Translation''. Career Lessac started his career in theatre after having received a Ph.D. in developmental and perceptual psychology at the University of Pennsylvania in 1965 under the tutelage of Richard Solomon and Henry Gleitman, and was then given a McKnight Fellowship to the Tyronne Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.
