Theis F. Rasmussen
Theis Frydenlund Rasmussen (born 12 July 1984), known as Theis F. Rasmussen, is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He has played six games for the Denmark U-21 national team, and helped the team qualify for the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006. He started his career with Danish 1st Division teams B.93 and Akademisk Boldklub. He moved to 1st Division rivals Vejle Boldklub in 2005, and helped Vejle win promotion for the Danish Superliga. When Vejle brought in experienced goalkeeper Jan Hoffmann, Rasmussen saw no more playing time, and left the club in the winter 2007. He continued his career as an amateur with BK Frem, but soon left for Superliga club FC Nordsjælland in March 2008. He left Nordsjælland in December 2008 in order to seek more playing time elsewhere. In many team sports which involve scoring goals, the goalkeeper (sometimes termed goaltender, netminder, GK, goalie or keeper) is a designated player charged with directly preventing the opposing team from scoring by blocking or intercepting opposing shots on goal. Such positions exist in bandy, rink bandy, camogie, association football, Gaelic football, international rules football, floorball, handball, hurling, field hockey, ice hockey, roller hockey, lacrosse, ringette, rinkball, water polo, and shinty as well as in other sports. Jan Hoffmann
Jan Hoffmann (born 26 October 1955) is a German figure skater who represented East Germany in competition. A four-time Olympian, he is the 1980 Olympic silver medalist, the 1974 & 1980 World Champion, and a four-time (1974, 1977–1979) European Champion. Personal life Jan Hoffmann was born on 26 October 1955 in Dresden, East Germany. He is married and has one daughter. Career Competitive Hoffmann's first coach was Annemarie Halbach in Dresden. He later switched to Jutta Müller in Karl-Marx-Stadt (today Chemnitz). He represented the former East Germany in competition. He was one of a handful of figure skaters who rotated clockwise, landing on his left foot. At the age of 12, Hoffmann competed at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble and placed 26th.
