Thein Htaik
Thein Htaik ( my, သိန်းထိုက်) is the Union Auditor General of Myanmar, appointed to the post on 7 September 2012. He has served as the Minister for Mines, the Deputy Minister for Transport and was a Colonel in the Myanmar Air Force. He has served as an Inspector General in the Ministry of Defence and is a retired major general in the Myanmar Army. The Office of the Auditor General ( my, ပြည်ထောင်စုစာရင်းစစ်ချုပ်ရုံး; abbreviated OAG) is an independent government body that serves as the auditor of the Government of Myanmar (Burma). Major General
Major general (abbreviated MG, maj. gen. and similar) is a military rank used in many countries. It is derived from the older rank of sergeant major general. The disappearance of the "sergeant" in the title explains the apparent confusion of a lieutenant general outranking a major general, whereas a major outranks a lieutenant. In the Commonwealth of Nations, Commonwealth and in the United States, when appointed to a field command, a major general is typically in command of a Division (military), division consisting of around 6,000 to 25,000 troops (several regiments or brigades). Pyithu Hluttaw
The Pyithu Hluttaw ( my, ပြည်သူ့ လွှတ်တော်, ; House of Representatives) is the ''de jure'' lower house of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, the bicameral legislature of Myanmar (Burma). It consists of 440 members, of which 330 are directly elected through the first-past-the-post system in each townships (the third-level administrative divisions of Myanmar), and 110 are appointed by the Myanmar Armed Forces.
