Joe Thein (born 17 July 1991 in Esch-sur-Alzette) is a Luxembourgish politician and former councillor. He is living in Lamadelaine in the commune of Pétange. He supports the philosophy of conservatism by Edmund Burke. After obtaining his commercial diploma at the Lycée Technique Mathias Adam, he worked as a flight attendant at the Luxembourgish airline Luxair. Nilar Thein
Nilar Thein ( my, နီလာသိန်း, ) (born 4 March 1972) is a Burmese democracy activist and political prisoner imprisoned from 2008 to 2012 at Thayet prison in Burma's Magway Region. Amnesty International considered her a prisoner of conscience. 8888 uprising and subsequent arrests Nilar Thein is from Yangon, Burma. She and her future husband, Kyaw Min Yu (better known as "Ko Jimmy"), participated in 1988's pro-democracy 8888 Uprising, opposing the continued rule of the military dictatorship State Law and Order Restoration Council (SLORC). In 1990, she was imprisoned for two months for her participation in protests. In December 1996, she was arrested for organizing protests and sentenced to ten years imprisonment, which she served at Thayawaddy prison. Thein Han
Thein Han ( my, သိန်းဟန်, ; 1910–1986) was a major Yangon painter of the post-World War II era who produced a number of memorable works and who had an abiding influence on the evolution of the more conservative painting styles in Burma in the decades that followed. He should not be confused with Thein Han the writer and art critic, who is often quoted for his article written on Burmese painting published in the ''Atlantic Monthly'' in 1958. Overview Thein Han was one of the six original apprentices who lived with and studied under Ba Nyan after Ba Nyan returned from his art studies in London in 1930. Three of these apprentices became major painters in Burma and Thein Han was one of them. Other painters such as Ngwe Gaing and Kyaw Hlaing had spent long periods studying with Ba Nyan but not as a live-in apprentices at his home. Thein Pe Myint ( my, သိန်းဖေမြင့် ; also ''Thakin'' Thein Pe ( ); 10 July 1914 – 15 January 1978) was a Burmese politician, writer and journalist. Phyo Min Thein ( my, ဖြိုးမင်းသိန်း; born 13 April 1969) is a Burmese politician and former political prisoner who is currently serving as Chief Minister of Yangon Region and Yangon Region Parliament MP for Hlegu Township Constituency No. 2. Thein Tun ( my, သိန်းထွန်း; 26 March 1937 – 18 April 2022) was a Burmese businessman and founder of Myanmar Golden Star. He was best known for introducing Pepsi into the Burmese market through Myanmar Golden Star in 1991. He benefited from close connections with Tun Kyi, a former Burmese general. Thein Han (born 20 March 1998) is a basketball player from Myanmar. He represented Myanmar's national basketball team at the 2017 SEABA Championship in Quezon City, Philippines.
