Theevandi
''Theevandi'' () is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Fellini T. P. and written by Vini Vishwa Lal. The film stars Tovino Thomas, Samyuktha Menon, Sudheesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, Rajesh Sharma, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Saiju Kurup, and Shammi Thilakan in lead-roles. Principal photography began in November 2017 and ended around January 2018. Kailas Menon composed the music and Appu Bhattathiri was the editor. The film was released on 7 September 2018. Plot Damodaran, a resident of the fictional village of Pullinad, is unable to transport his pregnant wife to the hospital due to heavy rain and the rebellion following the Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. Kailas Menon
Kailas Menon is an Indian film composer who works predominantly in Malayalam films and commercials. After working as a composer for television commercials for more than a decade, he debuted as a composer in feature films with director Jayaraj's ''Pakarnnatam''. His first mainstream release happened much later with ''Theevandi'', for which he earned his first Filmfare Award. Early life Kailas was born in Thrissur, Kerala on 30 May 1986. The Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyricist is an honour, begun in 1969, presented annually at the Kerala State Film Awards of India to a lyricist for best lyrics in a Malayalam film.
