Thed Björk
Thed Björk (born 14 December 1980 in Vretstorp, Örebro) is a Swedish racing driver, and 2017 World Touring Car Champion. Other notable titles include the 2006 Swedish Touring Car Championship and the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. He also finished second in 2005 and 2009, and third in the 2008 STCC and the 2012 TTA – Racing Elite League. Career Early career After graduating from Karting in 1997 Björk raced in the Swedish and Nordic Formula 3 series, taking both titles in 1999. For 2000 he went to the United States to race in the Barber Dodge Pro Series. Björk took one pole position, lap record at Mid-Ohio and two fastest race laps. His best race finish was a fourth place and had he had one fifth and three sixth places. Björk finished 10th overall. 2001 saw Björk race in several different series; concentrating on the FIA Sportscar Championship SR2 class for Sportscar Racing Team Sweden, taking the title together with American Larry Oberto. 2001 French Formula Three Season
The 2001 French Formula Three Championship was the 34th running of the French Formula Three Championship. It began on 31 March at Nogaro and ended on 20 October at Magny-Cours after eleven races. Ryo Fukuda of Saulnier Racing won races at Nogaro, Lédenon, Spa, Le Mans, and Val de Vienne Magny-Cours, and had another two podiums on his way to the championship title. He had only one rival who can contest with him and shared leftover wins. It was Tiago Monteiro, who won Nogaro, Croix-en-Ternois, and Albi races. 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship Season
The 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 15th and last Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. Four of the race weekends were held together with the Danish Touring Car Championship and the results from these races also counted towards the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup. From 2011, the new Scandinavian Touring Car Championship replaced both the Swedish and the Danish Touring Car Championships. Teams and drivers The official entry list for the 2010 STCC season was released on March 20. All teams were Swedish-registered. Race Calendar The calendar for the 2010 season was published in November 2009. 2006 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters Season
The 2006 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the twentieth season of premier German touring car championship and also seventh season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series was resumed in 2000. The number of race weekends was reduced, from eleven in 2005, to ten for the 2006 season. Each track hosted one race, with the exception of Hockenheim, which hosted two.
